Considered one of the best opera buildings in the world, the Teatro Colón of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires is internationally recognized for its acoustics and its heritage value; an evidence of the influence of Italian and French architectural culture in Argentina.

Inaugurated on May 25, 1908, it is located in a privileged location in the center of the city - between Cerrito, Viamonte, Tucumán and Libertad streets -, creating an urban imprint that allows the building to be conceived as one of the most representative historical monuments in the country.
